This hidden red wine pearl comes straight from the vineyards and the hands of a top actor John Malkovich!
65% Pinot Noir and 35% Cabernet-Sauvignon in a wine with medium body, full of crunchy red fruit.
The wine has no year, as it is made on the basis of a selection of wines from 3 harvests.
Located in the region Vaucluse in the Luberon massif south of the Rhône appellation (Châteauneuf-du-Pape) and north the vineyards of Provence.
Actor John Malkovich and director Nicoletta Peyran decided in the mid-1980s to raise their children here, away from the busy cities of London and LA. But it wasn't until 2008 that the couple decided to plant vines there. He made a counterproductive choice (which is fiercely reminiscent of the roles he is known for) in the planted grape varieties: Cabernet-Sauvignon & Pinot Noir.
And that in a region known for Mourvèdre and Grenache. The first harvest took place in 2011, but the wine was only made available to the public in 2018, with the arrival of Ralf Hoegger (ex-Tenuta il Palagio from Sting) and winemaker Jean Natoli. With the arrival of Jean Natoli, a switch was also made to an organic method of winemaking.

Tasting Notes
Cranberry and black cherry aromas blend with the typical earthy aromas of Pinot Noir. Medium body full of crunchy, red and black fruits; nicely balanced with a nice acidity and a tasty touch of tobacco on the aftertaste.
